How to measure:
Measure your body, not your cloths. Make sure your measurements are taken with only your underwear on. Measuring over cloths can cause you to get the wrong size.
Bust / Chest: Relax your arms down at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your bust, make sure to keep the measuring tape under your arms and parallel to the floor.
Waist: To find the natural crease of your waist, bend to one side. This is the point to measure your waist. Keep it comfortable, not too tight, and make sure the measuring tape stays parallel to the floor.
Hips: Stand straight up with your heals together. Go down about 8 inches from your waist, and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeve Length: Measure from you neck to the end of your wrist.
Shoulder to shoulder: Just like it says. This helps to know if you need a fuller cut through the back.
Inseam: Get a pair of pant s that you like the length and measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.
Always go by your measurements and remember that different fabrics will fit differently. Heavier fabrics can feel smaller, knits may look more snug then they feel. If you prefer a looser fit, go up a size.
Remember that not all cloths are created equal. Every designer and clothing manufacturer has their own ideas on sizing. Make sure to check the measurements for every brand.
